Garden furniture refurbishment

Although still in good condition, the garden furniture at our extra care home in Frylands Court looked tired and weathered.

Volunteers from the repairs & maintenance and private sector housing enforcement teams, spent a day at the home, refurbishing the garden furniture and making small repairs.

They rubbed down and restored the table, chairs, and benches. Some of the furniture had to be re-tightened so the residents could continue to make good use of them.

Some residents came out throughout the day to see the work taking place. They were happy to see the furniture given a new lease of life.
