Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme: Summer and Winter 2025

The purpose of the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme is to offer free spaces at holiday clubs for school aged children in Croydon who are in receipt of benefits-related free school meals.

Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme 

Funding is being provided to local authorities to co-ordinate a programme that provides healthy food and enriching activities to disadvantaged children during the 2025 holiday periods.

We are seeking partners to deliver the Holiday Activities and Food Programme during the 2025 Summer and Winter holiday period. 

How to apply    

We seek applications from delivery partners able to offer mainstream HAF provision or a SEND specific provision to support children with medium-high additional needs. 

For 2025, organisations can apply for funding of up to £30,000 for Summer 2025 and up to £7,500 for Winter 2025. These are the maximum grant amounts available for the total application for each holiday period and cannot be exceeded.

Funding limits are based on the length of delivery as follows:

  • 1 week (4 days): up to £7,500
  • 2 weeks (8 days): up to £15,000
  • 4 weeks (16 days): up to £30,000
