Rap Therapy is providing a one week workshop in Croydon that will use rap as a tool to teach young people how to positively express themselves and become more creative. The core focus of the workshops is to improve communication between young people and influence positive ways of expression, in turn improving their mental health.
These workshops consist of physically and mentally challenging rap-based games that then equip students with transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, and listening skills, which they can use in and out of their classrooms.
The sessions also include Rap Therapy themed basketball games (delivered by a trained UK basketball coach) and nutritional education sessions.
