Our program is focused on music production as well as interactive and educational games. We will provide breakfast and lunch to all children involved.
Breakfast will consist of cereal, fruit, and water. Lunch will consist of one or more portions of starchy food, protein (meat fish or plant-based protein), one portion of veg and a fruit-based desert.
The chef will have a quick talk to the children before lunch to let them know about the food they're eating and its nutritional value.
There are Vegan and halal options for food. Each afternoon there will be 30 minutes of exercise, either boxercise or dance class, which will take place in our garden if the weather permits, or inside if not. There are games on site such as table tennis, board games, arts and crafts to keep the children engaged. There are sensory toys for SEND children and a quiet room for anyone that needs that space.
We will be planting fruit and vegetables in our flower beds to further discus the benefits of healthy eating and discuss what organic food means. The forest trek has been a major win with the children on previous HAF programs which we will continue to do. They will visit the local farm and be taught how milk and cheese is made as well as being able to see and feed sheep.
