Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health service (EWMH)
If the child is in immediate danger call 999, or contact SPOC immediately on 0202 8726 6400 – Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Out of hours: 0208 726 640 – Monday to Friday, 5pm to 9am, Weekends and bank holidays, 24 hours.
EWMH is used as a term for all services that work with children and young people who have difficulties with their emotional or behavioural wellbeing.
EWMH in Croydon can be accessed through the Single Point of Contact (SPOC). The SPOC brings together all the local services offering emotional support, counselling, mental health assessment and parenting support.
How to access EWMH support
A parent or carer can contact us directly, or a professional such as a teacher, school nurse or GP can contact us on the behalf of the young person or child.
