About your area - help

About your area lets you view places and services in the borough, and get personalised information about what's near your home.

Visit about your area

The about your area website works best on a laptop or desktop computer - it does not resize for mobiles or tablets.

Features

• With the Borough map tab showing, click "Places and services" to view the different information which can be shown on the map.
• Click different themes to view the places and services available (e.g. Parks are listed in the Leisure theme)
• Your selected items will load in the side panel on the right and you can click "View Map" to see the items on the map.
• By clicking a place or service shown in the side panel, you can see all the items shown on the map in alphabetical order.
• The side panel only lists the items you can see on the map. If you want to see more or less, zoom out or in using the slider on the map or your mouse wheel.
• A modern browser with JavaScript is required to use the interactive pages of the About your area section. If you can't update your browser and cannot enable JavaScript, use the accessible version. This has the same information but without the interactive maps.
