Information on the national Adult Social Care Survey in England.
We are required to carry out the annual Adult Social Care Survey from the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).
Surveys are sent to adults:
The survey will help us to build an understanding of how residents feel, so we can work together to support them. It will also shape our Adult Social Care and Health Strategy 2026-30, which will be published later in January. One of the strategy priorities is tackling inequalities through high-quality services.
We began sending surveys to a random sample of residents who met the criteria on 12 January 2026.
They will be asked for their views on:
Responses to the survey are completely anonymous.
We will analyse the survey results and share them with the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC). They are responsible for the Adult Social Care Survey (ASCS).
The results of the survey will be used to:
If you receive the survey, it will include guidance that explains how you can get help to complete it.
Please email hwaperformance@croydon.gov.uk if you need the survey information in another language or format.
Once you have completed the survey, please return it in the pre-paid envelope provided (you do not need to put a stamp on the envelope).
You must return the completed survey by 31 January 2026.
The more people who take part, the more useful the results will be to help us assess and improve our local services for people like you. Thank you very much for giving some of your time to help Adult Social Care services.
