London Borough of Croydon

There are 3 main criteria for applying for a disabled parking bay

  1. There must be a registered Blue Badge holder living at the address.
  2. There must be a vehicle registered at the same address.
  3. The applicant should have no access to off-street parking (for example, they cannot have a garage or driveway).

We will only consider providing a bay for a disabled resident with off-street parking if there is a good reason why the off-street parking space cannot be used. These bays are usually provided across the driveway entrance. We can only provide bays on the public highway.

Legal procedures mean disabled bays can take up to 6 months to introduce.
