“Children’s services in Croydon have faced up to some tough challenges in recent years. Following Ofsted’s judgement in 2017, the council’s leadership was determined to make lasting and sustainable improvements. “Children’s social care is a top priority for the whole council, and we are enjoying extensive political and corporate support as a result, including major investment. We are now on a clear path to deliver outstanding outcomes for children and young people, and with pace.
