Croydon Virtual School is a group of education and social care professionals, responsible for the progress of the children we look after.
Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) are young people who arrive in Croydon without adult carers. They are seen at the Home Office and enter into Croydon's care on a Section 20 order.
Their education is overseen by Croydon Virtual School. UASC have specific needs arising from their experiences. We offer advice and guidance to foster carers and professionals supporting the young person with accessing education. If you have any questions, please speak to the young person's social worker or email Croydon Virtual School.
