Croydon Works helps to match local people with local vacancies through employability support and a free to use recruitment service for the residents and businesses of Croydon. The construction skills academy in New Addington provides training and qualifications for local people interested in working in construction. In its first 12 months, 83 people passed through the academy. After the course, candidates are supported by Croydon Works to apply for work.
