We are working hard with developers and other partners to keep disruption to a minimum.

Every day hundreds of additional HGV trips are being made on Croydon’s road. Controlling the construction traffic helps keep people safe, eases congestion and can help control air quality in the town centre. Ways we can manage construction traffic include:
We’re working with major employers in the town centre to advise workers about getting into and out of the town centre.
We’ll let you know about any proposed changes to public transport, road layouts, cycle routes, and so on through or usual channels. And you can keep u to date with the latest travel information through our Twitter account @CroTravelAlerts
Thoughtful hoarding design, new lighting and signage are also planned to help people move around the town centre easily and safely.
We're working with utility and transport providers to avoid doing street works in isolation, reducing disruption to Croydon road users by working in the same road space at the same time.
