Brownfield land register

Croydon's register of brownfield land suitable for residential development.

Every local planning authority in England is required to maintain a register of brownfield land (Excel, 202KB).

The Register contains all previously developed land in Croydon that:

  1. has an area of at least 0.25 hectares or is capable of supporting at least 5 dwellings;
  2. is suitable for residential development;
  3. is available for residential development; and
  4. Where residential development is achievable
