- change your vehicle
- lose your permit
Change of vehicle
We can issue up to 4 weeks' temporary cover while you wait for your new permit.
We are unable to issue a new permit for a change of vehicle until we receive a copy of the new V5c (log book), showing the new registration number registered at your address.
You must return your old permit as soon as you have applied for temporary cover, otherwise you may be charged an administration fee.
Moving Property
If you move from one parking zone to another within the borough of Croydon, we can issue up to 4 weeks' temporary cover while you wait for your new permit.
We are unable to issue a new permit for a change of address until we receive a copy of the new V5c (log book) showing your registration number, registered at your new address.
You must return your old permit as soon as you have applied for temporary cover, otherwise you may be charged an administration fee.
In exceptional circumstances we may be able to extend your temporary cover further if the original permit is returned to the parking permit section.
In all instances a parking fine may be issued if:
- you fail to display your temporary cover note in the windscreen of your vehicle
