Fees effective from 1 April 2023
New building, development or renaming and renumbering
| Per case (including first unit of development) | £200 |
| Each additional unit (2 to 100) | £130 per unit |
| Each additional unit (over 100) | £65 per unit |
| Building name (as part of a new development) | £280 |
| Building name (existing premises) | £280 |
| Street name | £570 |
Payment by credit or debit cards may be taken over the phone (020 8760 5538) or made by cheque (payable to Croydon Council). Please note there is a surcharge of 1.65% if you pay by credit card. There is no surcharge for debit cards.
Example
The fee for a block containing six flats would be the basic fee, including first unit, plus the fee for five additional units.
Essential numbering / renumbering of a property or site where the developer / owner has not used, or not applied for official street naming / numbering, will be chargeable.
All fees are exempt from VAT.
