What to do if you have not logged in since
16 November 2022
If you previously had an online My Account and re-registered for council tax after December 2021
You will need to use your old My Account login details, which were an email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, do not worry, you can follow the reset password process. You will then need to register to use additional council tax services to link your council tax account.
If you were a new customer who registered for an online council tax account after December 2021
As the sign in process has been updated, you will need to register for a Croydon My Account and then you will need to register to use additional council tax services to link your council tax account.
To link your council tax account, you will need:
- your first and last name as they appear on your council tax bill (no titles)
- your council tax account number (this can be found on your bill)
- the post code for the property
Benefits of using My Account
By signing up to manage your council tax account you can:
- check your balance, payments and instalments due
- view your bill
- switch to paperless billing
- make a payment
- update your contact details
- sign up for a direct debit
- view housing benefit and council tax support entitlement if applicable
Already registered since 16 November 2022?
You must have already registered and linked your council tax in My Account.
If you miss a payment, we will start the council tax recovery process which may result in court action or a fine.
