Information Request Policy
As a Local Authority we are committed to complying with the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FoIA) and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR).
FoIA and EIR provide a framework to enable individuals to request information from Public Authorities such as the Council, to request any recorded information that we hold. Recorded information is information that is held in any format, including emails, letters, notes, financial information, policy documents, and images.
