About the Covenant

Croydon community covenant

In December 2011 Croydon was the first London borough to sign a community covenant. We signed it as a pledge of commitment to our local armed forces population - those in service, reservists, veterans and their families.

The Croydon Armed Forces Community Covenant was signed by a number of local service providers, charities and the military, including:

  • The Mayor of Croydon
  • The Leader of the Council
  • The Leader of the Opposition
  • Deputy Lieutenant for the London Borough of Croydon
  • Military Champion for the London Borough of Croydon
  • Croydon Council
  • Croydon Voluntary Action
  • Croydon BME Forum
  • Croydon Health Services (Croydon University Hospital)
  • London Fire Brigade
  • Metropolitan Police
  • NHS Croydon
  • Reserve Forces and Cadets Association for Greater London
  • Royal British Legion - Croydon Branch
  • Royal British Legion - New Addington Branch
  • South London Business
  • SSAFA Forces Help South West London Branch (Croydon division)
  • The Army
  • The Navy
