History
Foxearth Spinney is a small open space, between the houses, that was conveyed to the Urban District Council as a gift on 7th October 1930 and 11th March 1933.
The spinney is shown on a 1912 plan as a small clump of trees in a field. When the surrounding development took place the trees, mature Beech, were preserved and the plot was given to the Urban District Council by the developer, Costains.
