  • Fostering

    Fostering provides homes for children who are temporarily unable to live with their own families but who may eventually return to the family home. We are always happy to welcome new foster carers.

  • Adoption

    The local authority attempts to find adoptive homes for children who are no longer able to live in their own homes. We offer support for adopted children and their families, prospective adopters, and birth families of adopted children.

  • Becoming a short breaks carer of children with disabilities

    Information on how to become a short breaks carer, domiciliary carer or scheme worker.

  • Children and young people - residential care

    Residential care for children ensures that the needs of children are met when they cannot live with their own family.

  • Looked after children's reviews

    Here you will find 'Having your say at your review' forms for children and young people to complete before their reviews, as well as the 'Consultation document for family members' and the new 'Consultation document for carers'.

  • Looked after children's education (LACE)

    We provide a range of services, support and advice to promote the education of children who are in public care.

  • Leaving care and independence service

    We provide a range of services for young people aged 16-25 who are either looked after by the local authority, preparing for independence or living independently.

  • NCH Rightfully Yours

    A free service for children and young people in or from Croydon between the age of 0-25 who are in care, entering and leaving care or in need. They are part of the children's charity - NCH.
