Seeking help is the first step towards improving your mental health and wellbeing, but it can be daunting. Do not try to handle things on your own if you are struggling to cope, it is always okay to ask for help.
There are many organisations that are available to help you in Croydon, some may be more suitable for you. Different things work for different people at different times.
Your GP is there to help you with your mental health as well as your physical health. There are also many national and local services and charities which can help. For example, you could refer yourself to Croydon Talking Therapies or contact South London and Maudsley (SLaM) Mental Health Trust on their 24-hour helpline on 111, this replaces the old number (0800 731 2864).
