Mayor of Croydon
The Mayor is the borough's first citizen and represents Croydon at some 600 civic, ceremonial and social engagements during the year.
Cabinet and Shadow Cabinet members
The Leader of the Council is Councillor Mike Fisher. The Cabinet comprises the Leader and eight other councillors. The Cabinet is responsible, in consultation with others, for shaping the plans and strategies which form the council's Policy Framework. Councillor Tony Newman is the Leader of the Opposition.
