Licence summary
If you want to sell poisons which are defined as non-medical you should apply to us for a licence.

Eligibility criteria
The licence is valid for one year and operates from 1 May to 30 April but you may apply at any time during the year.

How to apply
Download the application form below and once completed send it to the licensing team at the address below together with the fee of £64. Cheques are payable to Croydon Council.
Application evaluation process
Once your application is received, you may be contacted by a licensing officer.
Will tacit consent apply?
No. Your licence will be issued to you when any relevant checks have been made.
Renewal of a licence
If you already hold a licence you will automatically be sent a renewal letter approximately one month before the expiry date.You can pay the renewal fee online.
Alternatively payment can now be made over the telephone by credit or debit card, if you would like to use this facility please telephone 020 8760 5466. Please note a surcharge of 1.65% will be payable for payments made by credit card, there is no charge for debit card payments.
Failed application redress
Any person who is refused a licence can appeal to the Croydon Magistrates Court, Barclay Road, Croydon CR9 3NG.
Licence holder redress
Any licence holder who objects to any of the licensing conditions attached to a licence may appeal to the Croydon Magistrates Court, Barclay Road, Croydon CR9 3NG.
