Application for Grant of Pavement Licence
Thank you for submitting your application
your application form will be sent to the Council’s Licensing Team. A member of the team will then call you on the contact telephone numbers you provided in your application form to take the payment of £100.
We will contact you within 2 working days to collect payment.
The seven day consultation period will start once payment has been recieved.
Please note that your application will not be deemed valid until the fee payment has been made.
An officer will aim to inspect the outside of the premises to check the dimensions and suitability of the area chosen. If you have any queries on this please email email@example.com
You will need to display a public notice advising people that you have applied for a pavement licence. You can use this public notice template.
The Metropolitan Police have requested that those who are granted Pavement Licenses under these provisions undertake the following to assist with counter terrorism measures. Please be aware that these are not part of the conditions which may be imposed on a Pavement License if granted to an applicant:
- that all licence holders and staff working at licensed premises register and successfully the complete nationally recognised counter terrorism training product referred to as ACT eLearning package within 10 days of the Pavement Licence application being made
- OR can demonstrate that the ACT eLearning product has been successfully completed by those employed or contracted to the relevant licensed within the preceding 12 month period of the pavement licence being granted (ACT eLearning Certificates are provided on successful on-line completion)
You may not display tables and chairs or any other street furniture until you have received acknowledgement that your application has been approved.
