My guests have arrived and I’ve had my home visit, when will they get their £200 welcome payment?

The £200 welcome payment will be made at the second visit (the well-being visit). We are working through all the well-being visits as quickly as possible. 

My guests have arrived via the Family Scheme, how can I arrange their £200 welcome payment?

The government has only made the £200 welcome payment available to those who arrive in the UK via the Homes for Ukraine scheme.

When will I get the monthly thank you payment for sponsors?

Sponsors are asked to provide accommodation for a minimum of six months. They can receive an optional ‘thank you’ payment of £350 per month for up to the first 12 months of sponsorship. This payment is limited to one monthly payment per address, regardless of the number of people sponsored. Payments will stop when the sponsorship ends

Thank you payments will be made directly into sponsors’ bank accounts, once a month in arrears. We will contact you to arrange this once all background checks have been successfully completed. 

My guests have still not received their visas. What can I do to speed up this process?

Visa applications are handled by the UK Visas and Immigration service (UKVI). You can contact them on 0808 164 8810

We are unable to progress visa approvals. There are two separate parts to the process. The visa process is government-controlled and we have no connection to this part of the process. 

What we are progressing is supporting sponsors and their guests in the system. The work that we do does not impact or influence visa applications. However, we can check the system to see if a visa has been issued. Please email and we can check for you.
