London Borough of Croydon

Temporary site closure

Fishers Farm Household Reuse and Recycling Centre will be closed for upgrade works from Monday 27 November to Sunday 10 December. The site will reopen at 8am on Monday 11 December.

Along with essential drainage works, general improvements will be made to the layout and to increase the amount of usable space on the site. By doing this work we will ensure that the site meets the recently updated requirements set by the Environment Agency.

The additional space and a new traffic system will; improve user experience on the site, reduce the number of daily closures for the emptying of containers and shorten the queues. In order that the works can be carried out safely, the site needs to be closed for two weeks to complete the upgrade.

During the two week closure residents can use the HRRC sites at Factory Lane and Purley Oaks. Please be aware that these sites may be busier than usual so you may need to allow extra time for your visit.

Visit the opening times and locations page for more information on the HRRC sites in Croydon.
