Community clean-ups and litter picks are a fantastic way to get involved with your community and help keep your local area clean and green. 

Want to get involved? Below is a list of planned clean-up events in Croydon over the coming weeks. These may be subject to change. For any further information email champions@croydon.gov.uk.

13 October 

6pm to 8pm in South Norwood: Apsley Road Playground clean-up litter pick and gardening project at the play park.

19 October 

9.30am to 12.30pm in South Norwood: Friends of Love Lane Green are hosting The Really Wild Flower Dig. This is a gardening project clearing a section of grass verge and sowing the seeds for a wildflower meadow.

10am to 12pm in Shirley: Spring Park Residents’ Association members are leading a clean-up of Temple Avenue Copse.

27 October

11am to 1pm in South Norwood: a Street Champion-led litter pick by 10 volunteers clearing the area around Stanley Halls.
