Admission criteria for Community and Voluntary Controlled schools 2016/17.

You can download the admissions criteria for community and voluntary controlled primary schools 2016/17. These apply to Croydon community and voluntary Controlled schools.

Admission criteria for Community schools 2017/18.

Step 3: Complete your application

To apply for a place at a primary or secondary school you will need your council tax account reference. If you are not responsible for paying the council tax at your address, you can leave that part of the form blank.

   Apply for a school place at

Supplementary Information Forms (SIF). Some schools may also give you a supplementary information form (SIF) to complete. This form asks for extra information used by the school to assess your application.

Please note. You still need to complete an online application if you have a SIF. The school requiring a SIF must be a preferred school on your application.

  • Closing date for receipt of secondary school applications is 31 October 2016.
  • Closing date for receipt of primary school applications is 15 January 2017.

Step 4: Receiving your offer

You will not receive a letter in the post from the council so you must keep your eAdmissions login information safe.

Primary Schools (Reception and Junior admissions)

You will receive details of your school offer in the evening of 18 April 2017 by email or the ParentComms app.

Emails are sent in batches so you may receive your email before or after other families.

You can make a formal request in writing for personal information held about you or your child.

We have a duty under the Children's Act 2004 to work with partner organisations to provide and improve services to children and young people. It may be necessary to share information with other such organisations. We may also use information from your application to prevent and detect of fraud.
