Published Admission Number for 2017/18 and 2018/19 Academic Years

In 2013, Croydon experienced a 5% drop in birth rate and consequently has seen a drop in demand for Reception places. This has resulted in a higher than necessary level of surplus places in some of the educational planning areas across the borough. One of the areas affected by this is the East primary planning area, where Monks Orchard Primary School is situated.

As a result, Croydon Council, as the Admissions Authority, will be applying to the Office for the Schools’ Adjudicator (OSA) to seek approval of the reduction in Monks Orchard Primary School’s PAN from 90 to 60 for the 2017/18 & 2018/19 academic years. The final decision on the proposed reduction of the school’s PAN rests with the Office of the Schools’ Adjudicator.
