Components are reusable parts of the user interface – for example, buttons or alerts – that enable users to complete an action, navigate a page and can make the content more accessible.
You can use components in a combination of ways, depending on the context. For example, to create a page, you may need a:
- information alert – to inform users of the status of a service
- inline contact details – to inform users how to contact a service
- start button – to allow users to start a form
