Candidates standing for election
Candidates planning to stand in the elections must submit their nomination forms between 10am Tuesday 19 March and 4pm on Wednesday 27 March.
A list of candidates and parties standing in the elections for Mayor of London and the Greater London Assembly will be published here by Tuesday 2 April.
Information about Mayoral and GLA candidates
At all elections the individual candidates and political parties are responsible for telling voters who they are and what their policies are.
However, for the election of the Mayor of London, the Greater London Returning Officer is required by law to produce and send to all registered voters a Mayoral address booklet. Candidates can choose to have an address, or statement from them included in the booklet.
Hard copies of the booklet will be posted to all voters from 5 April and an electronic copy will be available on the London Elects website.

The deadline for candidates to be nominated at these elections is 4pm on Wednesday 27 March.
