Photo ID

Photo ID is now required by law to vote in polling stations.

Anyone who does not show a valid form of photo ID will not be able to vote.

If you don't have photo ID

If you don’t already have an accepted form of photo ID, or you’re not sure whether your photo ID still looks like you, you can apply for a free voter ID document, known as a Voter Authority Certificate.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on Wednesday 26 June.

You can request a paper application form for a Voter Authority Certificate from electoral.services@croydon.gov.uk or telephone 0300 373 0595.
