London Borough of Croydon

Friends of Parks groups and other interested organisations that want to carry out practical work in Croydon’s Parks, Green Space and Woodlands will need public liability insurance cover. To continue to support community action in parks, the Nature Conservation Grant can cover the cost for this insurance.

If you are a new group please get in touch with Meike Weiser, Community Conservation Partnership Officer, to discuss your ideas and group set-up

Outcomes

Groups wishing to apply for cover of insurance cost should ensure their activities contribute to the following outcomes

  • increased community involvement with nature conservation projects
  • increased community awareness of nature conservation projects
  • improved, enhanced or protected bio-diversity on sites
