If you want to exhibit or train any performing animal you will need a registration.
The registration is valid from 1 January to the 31 December.

If you are applying for a new licence please download the application form below and once completed send it to the licensing team.
The licence fee is £100 per year.
Application evaluation process
Once your application is received, a licensing officer will contact you to make arrangements to carry out an inspection of your premises.
The officer may be accompanied by an approved vet who will set the registration conditions.
Will tacit consent apply?
No. Your registration will only be issued to you when all the necessary inspections / checks have been carried out and the premises meets the required standards.
Renewal of registration
If you already hold a registration and it is due for renewal payment can be made over the telephone by credit or debit card, if you would like to use this facility please telephone 020 8760 5466. Please note a surcharge of 1.65% will be payable for payments made by credit card, there is no charge for debit card payments.
Failed application redress
Any person who is refused a registration can appeal to the Croydon Magistrates Court, Barclay Road, Croydon CR9 3NG.
Registration holder redress
Any registration holder who objects to any of the conditions attached to a registration may appeal to the Croydon Magistrates Court, Barclay Road, Croydon CR9 3NG.
