London Borough of Croydon

Croydon Means Business continues to showcase  Croydon as a great place to grow a business and to inspire further innovation among the borough’s business community by providing events, including networking, training and lobbying activities. This follows  the  inaugural Croydon Year for Business in 2018. There are opportunities to:

  • network with other local businesses and supply chains
  • find out about the business support available and develop new programmes
  • promote Croydon as an innovative and exciting place to do business
  • highlight the positive role business can play in the local community through initiatives such as Croydon Works and the Croydon Good Employer Charter

See the calendar below for further information about upcoming events.

Croydon means business follows on from the work of the Small Business Commission  a business-led group set up by Croydon Council in January 2017 to explore the barriers to and opportunities for growth of Croydon’s small and medium sized businesses (SMEs).

In September 2017 the commission published the report of its findings and an action plan for delivery that proposed businesses, business support agencies and the council work together to unleash Croydon’s growth potential.
