Queen's Road Cemetery

Croydon's first cemetery opened in 1861. The twin chapels are no longer in use but ceremonies can be held in the chapels in Mitcham Road Cemetery, Croydon Crematorium or in another venue of your choice.

Burials

No new graves are available, but burials in family graves, with the owner's permission, are possible. Reclaimed graves and reclaimed cremated remains graves are available. Reclaiming keeps our fees and your funeral costs down.

Each grave is reclaimed with great care. Graves are only used where the owner is deceased, no burial has taken place for at least 75 years and the grave is unvisited or neglected. Only unused space is used and no previously interred remains are disturbed or removed.
