New street procedure - road making
This document contains important information regarding the council's operation of the Advance Payments Code and entering into of a Road Making Agreement.
The notes give guidance to developers on the procedures to be followed in relation to new streets that are to be adopted utilising a Section 38 (Highways Act 1980) Agreement and to new streets that are to remain private utilising a Section 33 (Local Government Misc Provisions Act 1982) Agreement.
