Parking enforcement - removal of vehicles
Motorists who return to their vehicle and find it is not there should telephone the London TRACE service to find out whether it has been towed away or stolen. There are several bodies who have the authority to remove vehicles such as the DVLA, the police, or the council.
Vehicles may be removed from the street to our secured car pound at Stubbs Mead at any time after a penalty charge notice (PCN) has been issued. Please see link at bottom of page for map of car pound location.
The charges for removal to the car pound are £200 plus the fee for the PCN. A £40 storage fee will be charged for every day a vehicle is stored at the pound.
Management of impounded vehicles is carried out by council staff.
