Parking permits

There are several areas in Croydon that are designated as controlled parking zones. These are designed to prevent all day, on-street commuter parking so that it is easier for residents and their visitors to park.

Anyone may park in these zones if they buy a ticket from a nearby Pay and Display machine. However, if you want to park regularly in a controlled parking zone, it is cheaper to apply for a parking permit.

Find out prices and further information on the different types of permit available.

Please note

Please note there is a surcharge of 1.65% if you pay by credit card after 05/09/2011.  There is no surcharge for debit cards.

As a result of an increased demand for parking permits in Mason's Avenue and Edridge Road, Parking Services have placed a waiting list on all permit applications for addresses in these streets. For further information please contact Parking Services on 020 8726 7100.

Please be aware that applications for permits to be renewed must be received 14 days prior to the date of expiry of your current permit. Until a new valid permit is received and correctly displayed the driver must either find alternative parking or purchase a pay and display ticket.

Please allow 3-5 days to receive your new permit.

It is the permit holder's responsibility to ensure they renew their permit in good time.
