Disposing of vehicles

Procedure of collection

We require a letter from the registered keeper, which should include:

  • the exact location of your vehicle (it must be in an accessible location within the borough of Croydon)
  • a daytime telephone number
  • the complete vehicle registration certificate (V5C)
  • the signature of the person named on the V5C authorising us to destroy the vehicle.

We will aim to pick up the surrendered vehicle 2-3 days from receipt of the above.

Any vehicle that contains a large amount of rubbish will not be collected.
