Planning and regeneration

The government has decided to try and make the planning system clearer by having a standard planning application form for the whole country. This new application form is known as 1APP and will be the only legal way to submit a planning application from the 1st October 2007. Any applications received after this date not using the 1APP form will be returned as being invalid

1APP is primarily designed as an electronic form and will be available online via the planning portal, however it will also be available as a paper form from the Council
