Use this form only to make an online Building Notice Application.

Use this form only if you wish to pay by cheque. All applications must be signed by or on behalf of the applicant. The signature on the cheque will be considered to be this signature.

If you use this service, your cheque must be received within three working days to avoid your application being cancelled (if you apply on a Monday, we must have your fee by 4:30pm the following Thursday).

Please quote your address, the work that you are applying for and 'WEB-BR' on the back of the cheque to ensure that we can link it with your application.

Submission of this form does not constitute the legal deposit of your application. As with other methods, your application is not 'deposited' until it has been checked for completeness and validity. Legal deposit will, however, be the date that we received the application, should the application be subsequently approved.

We regret that you cannot submit a building notice for works involving the construction or extension of a building that will be within three metres of a sewer or where the escape route of a non-domestic building will be affected. If you need guidance, please use the contact information on the left-hand side.
