Closure of Clocktower Tourist Information Centre
The Clocktower tourist information centre closed for business on Wednesday 25 February 2009. After careful consideration, the council decided that the services currently delivered by the tourist information centre in the Clocktower Central Library needed to be delivered in a different way.
Tourist Information: there is a wide range of information available online for all parts of the United Kingdom. The UK's official travel and holiday guide can be found via the Visit Britain associated link or you can visit the travel section of the Central Library, located on Level 2.
Travelcard purchase: Oyster and Travelcards are available from many outlets in central Croydon including:
- Surrey News, 64 High Street
- Coca Cola, 60 George Street
- Tramlink, Unit 5, Suffolk House, George Street.
