Parks and open spaces in Croydon
There are over 120 parks and open spaces in Croydon. Some are urban parks, often with facilities such as benches or playgrounds. Those parks are usually fenced and are locked at night.
Croydon also has a large number of wild open spaces which are great for walking and watching wildlife, but which have no facilities. The exception to this is South Norwood Country Park which has a visitor centre and other facilities.

South Norwood Country Park has a Visitor Centre that can be booked by schools. Please make a booking, by telephoning the Visitors Centre on the number below. It is open to the public from noon to 2pm at weekends.
