Science in Croydon
Riddlesdown School hosts public demonstrations of science teaching as well as sessions for science technicians that help them to prepare demonstrations to take back to their schools. For more information contact Mike Vingoe (details below).
Croydon Natural History and Scientific Society meets on most Monday evenings from 19:45 at the Small Hall of the United Reform Church in Addiscombe Grove, East Croydon. For more information about the society go to their website (see associated link).
Croydon Round Table of Inventors was established to provide a network and forum for local Croydon inventors to share ideas and experiences. It is a non-profit club, run by inventors and for inventors. Meetings take place on the second Tuesday of every month in the Town Hall from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Heathfield Ecology Centre was established in 1997 and operates out of the Old Orchard in the grounds of Heathfield House. The centre raises awareness of Croydon's green heritage and helps to preseve the borough's biodiversity.
