Children's events
We run the following free weekly drop-in events for young children:
- Wiggle and Jiggle: Tuesdays 10-11am (toddlers)
- Rhymetime: Saturdays 10-11am (babies)
- Storytime: Fridays 10-11am (under 5's)

Reading and writing groups
- Crime reading group (adults): one Saturday each month 2:30-3:30pm
- Black interest reading group (adults): one Saturday each month 3.00-4.00pm
- Graphic novel reading group (11-19 year olds): one Saturday each month 11am-noon
- Creative writing group (adults): one Friday each month 5.30-6.30pm
- Young Writers' Group (ages 10-16): Fortnightly on a Monday 4.30-5.30

- Knit and knatter (adults): fortnightly on a Friday 11.00-noon
- Create (arts/crafts for ages 10-19): One Monday each month 4.30-5.30
- Scribblers: Wednesdays (term-time only) 4.00-5.00pm (after school club with stories, crafts and quizzes for ages 5-9)

Homework help club
Our specially trained helpers offer young people aged 9 - 16 support with homework assignments. Students benefit from space to study, access to a wide selection of books, word processing and supervised internet access.
The club is free and young people can drop in as and when they please.
Operating hours
- School term time: Tuesday and Friday 4-6pm, Saturday 2-5 pm
- Half-term and Easter holidays: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 2-5pm
- Summer and Christmas holidays: Closed.
Careers, training and learning advice sessions
We hold free drop-in sessions on Tuesdays between 11 and 12:30pm and between 2 and 5pm.
Talk one-to-one with a personal adviser who can provide information and advice on learning and work options and also help you with your CV.
Work Club
The Work Club is run by volunteers and is here to offer support with job search and help with typing CVs. Come and meet other people who are also looking for a job and share your own experiences and skills. To find out more drop-in on a Wednesday between 10am and 12 noon or email workclub@croydon.gov.uk.
