Children's events
We run the following free drop-in events for young children:
- Bookstart Rhymetime: Tuesdays 10 - 10.30am (babies and toddlers)
- Wiggle and Jiggle: Tuesdays 11 - 11.30 am (toddlers over 18 months)
- Storytime: Fridays 10.15 - 10.45am (two and a half years onwards)
- Rock and Rhyme: Saturdays at 10.30 (for babies and toddlers)
Reference library
We have a separate reference library that is ideal for studying and reading in a quiet environment. There is an extensive collection of university prospectuses and educational yearbooks.
Reading group
Our Chatterbooks reading group for children aged 8-11 takes place once a month on a Thursday 4 - 5pm. Places now available.
Our adult reading group meets on the first Thursday of the month at 10.30am.
