Children's events
We run the following free drop-in events for young children during the school term:
- Bookstart Rhymetime: every Friday 11-11:30am (except during school holidays)
- Wiggle and Jiggle: every Thursday 10:30-11am (except during school holidays)
- Rock and Rhyme at 10:30am followed by Storytime at 11am on alternate Saturdays
- Chatter Books (reading group for 8 - 12 year-olds) meets on the last Friday of each month at 4-5pm.

Other events
- Knit and Natter group (adults): meets fortnightly on a Tuesday 2.00-3.00
- Adult Reading Group: meets once a month on a Monday 5.30-6.30
- Teen groups: meets once a month on a Thursday 4.30-5.30

Homework help club
Our specially trained helpers offer young people aged 9 - 16 support with homework assignments. Students benefit from space to study, access to a wide selection of books, word processing and supervised internet access.
The club is free and young people can drop in as and when they please.
Opening times
- school term time: Tuesdays and Thursdays 4-6pm, Saturday 2-5pm
- half term and Easter holidays: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 2-5pm
- Christmas and summer holidays: closed
Reading Group
Our adult reading group meets on the first Monday of the month at 5:30pm.
