Children's events
We run the following free drop-in events for young children during the school term:
- Bookstart Rhymetime: Friday 11-11.30 (babies and toddlers)
- Wiggle and Jiggle: Thursday 11-11.30 (18 months onwards)
- Wiggle and Jiggle: Fridays 10-10.30 during summer holidays (27 July - 24 August)
- Storytime: alternate Saturdays 11-11.30 (under fives) (23 June, 7 July and 21 July)
Homework help club
Our specially trained helpers offer young people aged 9-16 support with homework assignments. Students benefit from space to study, access to a wide selection of books, word processing and supervised internet access.
The club is free and young people can drop as and when they please.
Opening times
- school term time: Tuesdays and Thursdays 4 - 6pm, Saturday 2 - 5pm
- half term and Easter holidays: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 2 - 5pm
- Christmas and summer holidays: closed
Reading Group
Our adult reading group meets on the first Monday of the month at 5.30pm.
