Children's events
We run the following free drop-in events for young children during the school term:
- Bookstart Rhymetime: every Friday 11-11.30am (except during school holidays)
- Wiggle and Jiggle: every Thursday 10.30-11am (except during school holidays)
- Rock and Rhyme at 10.30am followed by Storytime at 11am on alternate Saturdays starting from 2nd Jan 2010
- Chatter Books (reading group for 8-12 year-olds) meets on the last Friday of each month at 4-5pm
Other events
Knit and Natter group meet once a month. Please contact Norbury library for further details.
Homework help club
Our specially trained helpers offer young people aged 9-16 support with homework assignments. Students benefit from space to study, access to a wide selection of books, word processing and supervised internet access.
The club is free and young people can drop in as and when they please.
Opening times
- school term time: Tuesdays and Thursdays 4 - 6pm, Saturday 2 - 5pm
- half term and Easter holidays: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 2 - 5pm
- Christmas and summer holidays: closed
Reading Group
Our adult reading group meets on the first Monday of the month at 5.30pm.
