Children's events
We run the following free drop-in events for young children during school term times:
- Saturday Rock and Rhyme: every Saturday 11:15am -11:45am. Nursery rhymes for babies and toddlers.
- Once Upon a Rhyme: Term Time Only on Tuesday's from 10am -11am. Songs, rhymes, stories and crafts for children aged 1 to 3 years old. Come and join us!
- Storytime: every Friday 4pm-4:30pm. Do you like listening to stories? For children up to 8 years of age and their parents/carers. Just drop in and join us!
- Chatterbooks : every first Monday of the month, 4pm -5 pm. If you are interested in chatting about books and you're aged 8 to 11 years, this is the group for you.

Homework help club
Need help with your homework or project? Do drop in if you are aged between 9 and 16 we have:
- Homework helpers
- Books to borrow
- PC's
- Supervised internet access
- Study space
- Free photocopying and print-outs during the club
Operating hours
- Every Tuesday and Thursday 4pm - 6pm
- Every Saturday 2pm - 5pm
- During Easter and Half-term holidays: every day (except Wednesday) 2pm -5pm
Social club
Our social club for the over 60's - the Addlib Club - meets every first Friday of the month at 2:30pm. This is a social club for those who live in the area with a variety of talks and general chat over a cup of tea.
Knit and Stitch
Come and join our Knit & Stitch Group for knitting and sewing every Monday from 2pm-4pm.
