Children's events
We run the following free drop-in events for young children:
- Storytime: Mondays 2.15 - 2.45pm (age three - five)
- Bookstart Rhymetime Fridays 11am -11:30am during term time (babies and toddlers)
- Chatterbooks: Monthly activity group for 8 to 11 year olds. Those interested should contact the library for dates and details. Activities include discussing books, storytelling, crafts and author visits.
- Wiggle and Jiggle sessions take place every Friday 10am - 10:30am (for older toddlers)
- Storytime every Monday 2:15 - 2:45pm for children from about two years
- Young Chatterbooks Reading Group for children aged 5 to 7, once a month on a Friday 3:45 - 4:30pm; please contact the library for details; places are limited, so please contact us if you are planning to come along.
Reading group
We run a reading group for adults with Coulsdon Library, with the venue alternating between us. It meets on the fourth Thursday in the month at 7.30 pm.
